John Lee joined BCI in 2022. He focuses on the consumer services sector, covering numerous consumer markets including food and beverage, pet services and products, household and personal products, and specialized consumer services. With $233.0 billion in gross assets under management as of March 31, 2023, BCI is one of the largest institutional investors in Canada.

Prior to joining BCI, John was a director of corporate development & strategy for Shaw Communications. Prior to Shaw, John worked in investment banking at FirstEnergy Capital in Calgary.

John holds a bachelor of commerce from the University of Alberta, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a CFA® designation.
